Okay. If you’ve followed along up to this point, you’re at what many would consider the most important step — the monetization aspect.

If you’ve followed the steps I’ve laid out over the last several posts, you should be at the point where you’re ready to start making some cash. It seems as if pretty much everyone on the planet has a PayPal account, but if you don’t, you should.

PayPal is the industry-recognized leader in payment processing, and it’s so darn easy to use. I saw a figure recently indicating that about 99% of all people online use it. Really?! Almost every person who buys or sells online has a PayPal account. Just soak that in for a minute.

While it is by far the most secure payment processor, it is most definitely to your advantage to get a business account. If you have to upgrade your account, by all means, do so. It’s free, plus if PayPal sees you’re getting business transactions without a business account, you’ll get flagged and you run the risk of having your account shut down.

Good luck getting on their good side after that. Oh, yeah, and good luck getting your account restored. Just sayin’. . .

I’m not saying PayPal is the be-all and end-all in payment processors. You have alternatives such as. . .

Alert Pay
,Google Checkout
,ClickBank
,Stripe, PayDotCom

. . .and many others, but PayPal is my processor of choice.

The point is, just do your homework, set yourself up with a way to collect and process payments, and start making money.

Until next time. . .

Just take action
