Some people tend to shy away from writing relationship building articles because there are no upfront financial benefits from doing so. That’s really shortsighted thinking. If you don’t have a good relationship with the people of your niche, then you’re going to have a lot of trouble making any kind of sustainable income. You’ll have a hard time seeing any sort of growth in income.

That’s because people buy from those they know, like, and trust. The Internet can seem very nameless and faceless. Some marketers are perfectly content letting things stay that way. They put out sales article after sales article, desperate to get that next sale and not caring at all that there are real people out there.

That’s not who you want to be. If nothing else, it’s a terrible long term strategy. If all you do is put out ads, then buyers aren’t going to pay any attention to you. They’ll pay attention to those who are giving them something. They’ll pay attention to those who are spending time building relationships. You want to be the latter type of marketer instead of the former.
